Why North Shore?

The best part of dealing with Northshore is that we are not lenders. Because of relationships with almost one hundred lenders, we have options that are most likely not available in your marketplace. If lenders in New England or Florida are tightening credit, we have ability to reach out to our lending partners throughout the United States. Every lender has their “Credit Box.” In this credit box, you the borrower, have to fill it with information and guidelines on your business that they require for you to qualify for a loan at their institution. The problem is most lenders do not explain what these qualifications are. At Northshore, from our years of experience and relationships, we know what information needs to be in the “Credit Box” of our lending partners. We know which lenders are more likely to lend to restaurants, motels, retail stores, manufacturing etc.  In less than 48 hours we can identify what lenders can fill your capital needs.

Our Leadership

Our Managing Partner is Dave Hartnett, a small businessman since he was 12 years oldGrowing up in Somerville Massachusetts he sold and delivered newspapers through out the greater Boston area. By the time he was 16 he started rebuilding home appliances and reselling them to neighbors and college students who couldn't afford to buy new washing machine or refrigerator.

After graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor Arts degree, he attended Northwood University in Chicago an earned a Master Degree in Finance.

 

Over the past 45 years he as owned various businesses, including a vending machine company, new car automotive dealerships, car rental agency, insurance companies, consumer finance companies, hotels, storage facilities and commercial real estate.  During this time in business he recognized the biggest challenge for small businesses was obtaining capital to grow.

Six years ago he started North Shore Funding LLC. It's mission was to help small to midsize companies find the capital needed to grow their companies. North Shore partnered for the first five years with Lendio, a leader in finance technology, to match small business owners with commercial lenders nationwide. Recently, North Shore has begun working with regional banks who expanding into small business lending. This partnership, along with our nationwide network, insures we can help small business grow in our communities. 

North Shore  works closely with over a dozen regional banks in New England and Florida . These banking relationships have been instrumental in helping many clients of these banks who did not qualify for conventional bank financing.  Many times federally insured banks aren't able to extend credit to clients because of federal or bank regulations. North Shore, because of it's network throughout the United States, is able to help these growing companies obtain much needed capital. Our portfolio of lenders specialize in lending to a particular industries that may not fit the "credit box" of conventional lenders.

 

North Shore Funding has a team of advisors that have backgrounds in small business lending. We pride ourselves on being able use our expertise to help our clients obtaining capital to grow and expand their businesses. Our team of professionals are there to support small businesses growth.
